Sustainable Urban Solutions Conference

“Fornebu will be set up as a zero emission area in 2027. This is one of the main objectives of the climate strategy of the municipality of Bærum in 2030. A trip to Fornebu 2027 will require us to change our way of life. (…)”

On May 23, a conference on sustainable urban solutions was held in Copenhagen. The aim of the conference was to create an attractive arena for cooperation as part of ecological and sustainable initiatives and to be a meeting place for owners of challenges and solution providers. Cities can look for new solutions, asking for green changes.

Bærum Municipality and Smart City Bærum have been invited together with eleven other cities, including Singapore, Helsinki and Stavanger, to present their challenge, the City Challenge.(…)

The conference was part of the Nordic Clan Energy Week in Copenhagen and Malmo and was a collaboration of seven Nordic partners financed by Nordic Innovation. Bærum joined the Smartæity Bærum network and contacted Innovation Norway.
